JORGE VASQUEZ
1st Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt
Today, Coach Vasquez is a 1st Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and is one of Grand Prairie’s most accomplished Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.
His main goal and focus are to help all his students use the lessons from Jiu Jitsu as a tool for personal development to become better individuals and reach any goals they set out for themselves.
Coach Vasquez’s journey as a student in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu began in July of 2012 at the age of 18 years old under the guidance of Professor Danny Alvarez out of Arlington, TX.
It was not long after that he decided he would dedicate himself to the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle and the goal of one day running his own Jiu Jitsu Academy.
Coach Vasquez earned his black belt at the age of 26 on July 11th, 2020. He has been promoted from the ranks of white belt to his present day ranking solely under the tutelage of Professor Alvarez.
Coach Vasquez has never taken any significant amount of time off the mats since the beginning of his journey demonstrating his dedication to his craft.

Coach Vasquez’s thirst for Jiu Jitsu knowledge continues to grow as each day passes.
Which has led him to endlessly studying and learning how he can create an environment where his students can acquire the skill of grappling in the most effective and efficient manner while also conquering one’s self on the journey as a martial artist.
Throughout Coach Vasquez’s Jiu Jitsu career, he has been active and has had success at every level of competition.
Coach Vasquez has competed against some of the best competitors from around the world giving him firsthand experience that he passes along to his students.
Training and Competing for the last 11 years have allowed him to develop and hone the mental capacity to Conquer Oneself and face all challenges.
The path of lifelong learning thru Jiu Jitsu has offered him endless opportunities for growth and knowledge.
